Sundering can be really useful to slow your opponents down and be able to remove their basic lands, and this effect triggers whenever it enters or leaves the battlefield, which means its repeatable
It also helps you to go on the offensive with the wolves your opponents give you or others you may have around
While, in our ideal world, we'll grow it a bit before it dies so we can reanimate something bigger, this isn't always possible, and getting no reanimation value from its death is brutal
